Children, Teens and Resilience
Actions which focus on children's and teens resilience to adversity. Whether a specific experience is considered adverse and impactful, can be very personal to an individual. One child or teen may be affected less by the same experience than another. Likewise, something that seems less impactful to one child or teen may have a strong effect on another. Adverse childhood experiences can traumatise a child and disrupt healthy development. A resilient child and teen will be able to reduce the impacts of adversity.
